Sand is loose grit that can settle deep into carpet; pet hair can cling or weave into fibers. Both affect detailing time, but they need different attention. Show affected areas before the quote and clean removable gear separately.
Sand travels farther than the floor mat.
Shoes, towels, and bags can move grit into seat seams and the cargo area. Lift removable items and check underneath before photographing the interior for a quote. Avoid scrubbing dry grit into delicate surfaces.
Hair depends on the fabric.
Hair that lifts from smooth upholstery may stay caught in carpet. A quick vacuum does not always reach embedded strands. Mention the pet, where it rides, and whether a seat cover is normally used so the time allowance is realistic.
Remove the source before replacing it.
Pet blankets, beach bags, and travel crates can bring debris back after cleaning. Care for those items separately according to their labels and return them only when clean and dry. A reusable liner can simplify future cleanup if it fits safely.
Describe odor as a separate concern.
A sandy or hairy cabin does not explain every smell. If an odor persists, share its history. Cleaning visible material may not address a hidden source, and no allergy or complete odor-removal claim should be assumed.
